Hon. Bisi Oluranti Micheal, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, on Wednesday commissioned four motorised boreholes across communities in the constituency as part of her ongoing community development and welfare initiatives.

Speaking during the commissioning exercise, Hon. Oluranti disclosed that the Ikose borehole, which had been non-functional for over 15 years, was rehabilitated and upgraded to modern standards. She explained that the project involved flushing the well and installing a new pumping machine to restore potable water supply to residents.
She noted that the Ikose borehole project was originally facilitated by former House of Representatives member, Alhaja Mulikat Adeola, during her tenure representing Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency.

The lawmaker further stated that two newly constructed motorised boreholes located at Papa Ajao area and Agboin (Aguodo/Masifa) are now fully operational, while the fourth borehole at Abogunde is currently being facilitated.
Hon. Oluranti reaffirmed her commitment to grassroots development, noting that in the last two years she has facilitated employment opportunities for constituents and implemented several empowerment programmes in fulfillment of her campaign promises.
According to her, the boreholes were strategically located to address water challenges in the constituency, particularly during the dry season, and will significantly improve access to clean and safe water for residents.
She assured constituents that her administration would continue to prioritise projects that directly impact the lives of the people.
It would be recalled that MOUTHPIECE NGR had earlier reported that the commissioning of the four boreholes would take place on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the commissioning ceremony was followed by a football competition grand finale organised as part of her talent-hunting and sports development initiative. Cash prizes were presented to the winning teams, alongside support for sports development within the constituency.
In addition, Hon. Oluranti empowered coordinators of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the wards in Ogbomoso North, reiterating her unwavering support for party structures and grassroots mobilisation.
