The senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District, Senator Halliru Dauda Jika on Sunday empowered his constituents with cars, tricycles, motorcycles and other items.
Items distributed includes, 25 cars, 83 tricycles, 96 motorcycles, 50 power generating sets, 130 sewing machines and 40 water pumps and start of capital for businesses.
Jika, while presenting the gifts to the beneficiaries at Kafin Madaki town of Ganjuwa Local Government of Bauchi State, said that the gesture was to appreciate the party faithfuls and constituents for their untiring support.
In attendance were serving and former house of representatives members from Bauchi State, Bauchi State majority leader Tijjani Muhammad Aliyu, other members of Bauchi State house of assembly and officials of the state chapter of All Progressives Congress APC.
In his remark, the state chairman of the APC, Alhaji Uba Nana thanked the senator for the gesture, and assured him of party’s support and cooperation towards promoting democracy in the state.
