Bashorun Akinwale Akinwale, popularly known as Wolekanle, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Iseyin on the successful celebration of the 2024 Annual Ofi Day Festival.

In his message, Wolekanle lauded the Iseyin community for their unwavering dedication to preserving Yoruba cultural heritage, describing Ofi Day as a vibrant testament to the rich traditions of Oyo State.

He commended the traditioner weavers association for creating a platform that celebrates the iconic Aso Ofi fabric while promoting unity and cultural pride.

Bashorun Akinwale also seized the opportunity to applaud Governor Seyi Makinde for his relentless efforts in promoting cultural heritage and tourism in Oyo State. He highlighted the governor’s initiatives, which have bolstered the visibility of festivals like Ofi Day, positioning them as key drivers of cultural preservation and economic development.

As a chief promoter of the Ogbomoso Ajilete Carnival, Bashorun Akinwale reiterated his commitment to supporting cultural initiatives across Oyo State, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in preserving and celebrating Yoruba traditions
