Awotan Community Development Association on Saturday honoured some community members for the community outstanding contributions to the advancement of the community.

Awardees include Alhaja Taiwo Ogunshina, Mr. Adeniyi Adeoti, Alhaja Elegbede Alhaja Oladiti Alhaji Lasisi Balogun, Engineer Ejike.

Also, a member Federal House of Reps Hon Remi Oseni was Honoured as the Best Philanthropist of the Year.

The outgoing president of the community, Engineer Rasaq Fabayo while speaking of the choice of Remi Oseni said, the lawmaker has empowered 400 people from the community, rehabilitates road and others as well as promised to do more for the community

Fabayo in his remark said he enjoyed cooperation and support of the people during six years which his administration lasted.

He added that during his tenure some landmark achievements were recorded and he believes that the new administration will continue where they stopped.

Presenting the certificate to the executive members, Barrister Peter Alamu said they are being appreciated for their unwavering commitment to the community development

Baale Awotan Orisun, Chief Remi Akinsipe JP. who was represented by Alhaji Salawudeen harps on the need for unity and cooperation for progress and development

The new president of the association, Alhaji Salawudeen congratulates his predecessor for the job well done and assured them that his administration will not relent in serving humanity and enhancing development to the community.
