Association of Traditional Baale’s of Ibadanland has disowned a purported event titled “Launching of 100 Million Naira for Trado-Medical Clinic,” scheduled for Saturday, 31st January 2026, at Bode Amao Hall, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.
The Baale’s distance themselves from the falsely event which is claimed to be organized under the auspices of the “Council of Traditional Baales Ibadanland led by Baale Wasiu Oladapo (Alaroro of Aroro).
A statement by leader of the Association of Traditional Baales of Ibadanland, Baale Folorunso Durojaye Bamitale Ige stated that the Association of Traditional Baales of Ibadanland is duly led by Baale Folorunso Durojaye Bamitale Ige (Baale Olohunde Ige) as its authentic leader.
“Baale Wasiu Oladapo (Alaroro of Aroro) is not affiliated with our Association in any leadership capacity, nor authorized to represent us.
“The said event has no connection whatsoever with the Association of Traditional Baales of Ibadanland. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or supported by our Association in any form.”
The statement however warned members of the public, traditional leaders, and all stakeholders not to associate with or participating in the unauthorized event, adding that any claims linking the event to the Association are misleading and potentially fraudulent.
“The Association reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against any individual or group misrepresenting our identity or leadership.
“For official matters, contact the Association through its recognized leadership.”
