The Chairman, Conference of Obas and Chiefs of Oke-Ogun and Aseyin of Iseyin land, HRM, Oba Dr. Abdulganiyy Adekunle Salau, JP, DVM, Oloogunebi- Ajinese I has congratulated His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde as he assumed office two days ago as The Executive Governor of Oyo State.
Oba Dr. Salau in a release made available to journalists this morning disclosed that the emergence of Engr. Makinde was as a result of his alluring antecedents and impacts on the lives of people in every nook and cranny of Oyo State.
“People of Oyo State have made their choice out of all the candidates who contested for the seat of Governor in the last general elections, I hereby enjoined them to complement their action with prayer,” Aseyin admonished.
While praying that God should make the task easier for Governor Seyi Makinde, Oba Dr. Salau admonished His Excellency to run an all inclusive administration so that the state can be taken to the next level of development.
The monarch lauded the past government led by Abiola Ajimobi while stressing that the administration was characterized by peace and physical developments in every nook and cranny of the State.
While wishing Ajimobi success in his future endeavour, Oba Dr Salau charged Engr. Makinde to make more friends who will be partners in the delivery of good governance to the people of Oyo State.
