Four key Arsenal players my miss match against  Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday this weekend.

They are facing a mini injury crisis at present, with several big-name stars not training alongside the rest of their team-mates as things stand.

Some of the players are, Bukayo Saka , Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta who revealed this at a press conference on Friday  said “ Rice hasn’t trained yet. We have another session in an hour or two. Martinelli hasn’t trained, Trossard, same situation. Saka, same situation.”

Arteta added that William Saliba and Fabio Vieira may also remain sidelined after they were left out of the squad that faced Brentford in midweek.

“Let’s see how everybody is today,” said Arteta, with Arsenal’s final training session of the week set to take place this afternoon. “They weren’t selected, they weren’t fit enough to be in the squad. That’s it. My hope is that everybody is fit and available. We need them.”

Arteta was also questioned about Kai Havertz, who has struggled to set the world alight since joining Arsenal from Chelsea over the summer.

The German forward is yet to hit the ground running in north London but Arteta is still optimistic that he will eventually come good as he continues to gel with his new team-mates.
