American Resort Management , ARM, is set to explore Nigeria Hospitality and Tourism Industry to develop the potentials in the sector to attract more attention and traffic from the international community and economic values.

A team of four experts including, Smart Guobadia, COO ARM Hospitality Africa, Terry U Richard, CEO Hospitality Africa, Dr Tom mock and Amanda Burkey on Saturday landed in Nigeria and their first point of call was La Campagne Tropicana Beach an African themed beach, lagoon and forest resort which span on over 65 acres of palm-fringed white sand beach, lagoon and mangrove forest Beach Resort.
Amb Wanle Akinboboye, the president of the resort who was accompanied by Wale Ojo Lanre, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Fayemi on Tourism Development did not just welcome them with warm African hospitality he also let them experienced the Africanization ideology which the resort is noted for which started right at the gate, the greetings, the modernized mud apartment (Amosan) where they slept, the African traditional entertainment and others which they confessed was fascinating.
The excited Amanda Burkey could not hide her love for African entertainment as she joined the Atunda group to dance and surprisingly her body twisting blended with the beat and the dancing style of the beautiful singers and dancers who were thrilling the tourists at the beach with nice music.
Richard Terry, CEO, ARM Africa told journalists that their mission in Nigeria is to partner with stakeholders in developing tourism.
He explained ” This is the first point of call internationally and the mission is to develop tourism and hospitality sector in the country. We have been in the business for the past 25 Years
It is not that Nigeria doesn’t have it but we are in the country to collaborate with the stakeholders to improve on it and open it to the world.’
When asked to judge resort in Nigeria with the ARM standard, Richard said ” with what we saw here at La Campagne, its obvious Nigeria has in abundance, what they are doing here is unique and we have a wonderful experience here and the world need to see it’.
He revealed that ” As we are leaving here, we are heading for Ile – Ife, the source and cradle of humanity, to meet the Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife who is a global enigma when it comes to culture, hospitality, real estate and tourism. ”
