An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt has dismissed the appeal of the suspended national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus seeking an interim injunction to restrain the PDP from conducting its national convention billed for Saturday and Sunday, October 30 and 31, 2021, in Abuja.
The judgement was read by Justice Gabriel Kolawale which was unanimously endorsed by the other two members of the panel.
Recall that A High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in september affirmed the suspension of Uche Secondus as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by his ward executives.
The court ruled that Secondus should desist from parading himself as a member or acting as head of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) of the major opposition party
