The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro has said that the major opposition party in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC) has gone into a long political voyage and may not likely return very soon.

Ogungbenro stated this on Thursday at a media parley with journalists at the party Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan.

He maintained that even if the APC will return, it can’t be in 2023, 2027 and years to come. His words:” If we talk of good governance, a comparative analysis will show you the differences, the people of Oyo state are not fools, they know when things are outrightly bad and when things are good and I can bodly say that Seyi Makinde is rendering quality service to the people of the state.”

He maintained that the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo state is back on its toes and ready to retain power through quality governance which the government under the Leadership of Engineer Seyi Makinde is offering.

Speaking on the the aggrieved members, he noted that the party is already resolving the problem adding that it’s a gradual process and it would be resolved as soon as possible.

The former caretaker zonal chairman of the party in the Southwest, however, appealed to all the political appointees in the state to further compliment the efforts of the state governor by being their brothers keepers.
