A former Governor of Kano State, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau today announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress APC to New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)
Senator Shekarau was elected to represents Kano central at the upper chamber of the National Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC
His letter was read on the floor of senate during plenary by the Senate President Ahmed Lawan
The former Minister of education attributed his decision to dump APC to unresolved crisis rocking the party
