Peoples Democratic Party PDP gubernatorial candidates in Oyo state Engineer Oluseyi Makinde has accessed the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the state of commissioning miscreants and relevant government agencies to deface billboards and posters

His Campaign Organisation raised the alarm in a press statement signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade citing specific areas like new Gbagi Market and airport road in Ibadan, Idere in Ibarapa Central and other areas in Oke Ogun

According to the press release, the fear of Engr Makinde’s popularity and acceptance among critical segments of the populace appears to be the driving force behind these undemocratic and desperate actions but this is already having a backlash from the people who perceive it as misuse of naked power.

Makinde advised government agencies not to heed the instructions to frustrate the allocation of billboards spaces to the campaign organisation because it will be difficult to stop the on going wind of change which the people have come to accept.
