Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin was today in Ogbomoso to meet with the former governor of Oyo state Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala.

This is coming few hours after the former Senate Majority Leader met with Former Minister of communications Barr Adebayo Shittu, Barrister Lowo Obisesan and other aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress that defected to ADC during the last election.

Yesterday’s meeting was greeted with a lot of criticism by some APC members who described his move as a mere comedy and height of desperation.

The reconciliatory move might not be disconnected from the information spreading round that the lawmaker is preparing to take over from Engineer Seyi Makinde in 2023.

Senator Folarin was accompanied by his elder brother Alhaji Yinka Folarin, Mogaji Wasiu Ajimobi, Akogun Akerm Olatunji Osama and others.

The APC chieftain is a member of the Alao Akala’s led reconciliation committee set up by the late former governor and Deputy National Chairman of the party Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

An Inside source told our reporter that the lawmaker briefed Otunba Alao Akala on the efforts so far in restoring sanity and unity in the party and the way forward.
