
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has approved the appointment of 15 Special Advisers, Advisers and Senior Special Assistants as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s administrative efficiency and strategic direction.
According to a statement issued by the APC National Secretariat on Tuesday, the appointments are aimed at enhancing coordination, policy formulation, stakeholder engagement and overall effectiveness at the national level.
The statement noted that the newly appointed aides are expected to deploy their experience, professionalism and commitment in supporting the national chairman in the discharge of his duties and in advancing the objectives of the ruling party.
The appointments comprise three Special Advisers, four Advisers and eight Senior Special Assistants.
Those appointed as Special Advisers are:
Senator Danladi Sankara – Political Matters
Daniel Oritsegbubemi – National Assembly Matters
Dr. Sorochi Longdet – Research, Strategy and Planning
The Advisers include:
Jibrin Surajo – Community Engagement
Paul Domsing – Special Duties
Suleiman Bukari – Intelligence Coordination
Prof. Taiwo Ajibolu Balofin – Honorary Adviser on Diaspora Coordination and Mobilisation
In the category of Senior Special Assistants, the appointees are:
Imran Muhammad – New Media
Mildred Bako – Civil Society Organisations
Yusuf Dingyadi – Media
Mrs. Enenedu Idusuyi – Protocol
Ismaila Mohammed – Conflict Management
Zarah Onyinye – Media and Public Relations
Adaku Apugo – Inter-Governmental Relations
Obinta Juliet Chinenye – Youth Mobilisation
Prof. Yilwatda congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate dedication, loyalty and unwavering commitment to the ideals and objectives of the APC.
The appointments take immediate effect.
