Alhaji Wale Adedibu, a chieffatin of All Progressives Congress (APC) is dead
He died on Saturday evening few days after the death of a veteran broadcatser and chieftain of the Party Olaniyi Ti o comon and Oyo North Women Leader of the party Princess Adenike Atoyebi
Adedibu, a popular APC chieftain in the state, died on Saturday night in Ibadan after a brief illness.
APC Lawmaker representing Oyo South at the upper chamber of the National Assembly Sen Sharafadeen Alli has expressed deep sadness over the passing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Alhaji Wale Adedibu.
Alli in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan said that the news of Adedibu’s death came as a rude shock to him and many others, saying such was coming few days after the loss of Oyo North APC Senatorial Women leader.
He described Adedibu as a committed and dedicated party member who worked tirelessly for the growth of the APC in the state.
The lawmaker said that Adedidu’s death was a great loss to the party and the state, adding his contributions to political and community development would always be remembered.
Alli described Adedibu’s death as a huge loss to APC and the state, saying his death has created a huge vacuum in the APC.
The lawmaker said that Adedibu’s death was a reminder of the fragility of life and the need for all to cherish every moment.
He expressed condolences to the family, friends, political associates and the APC family on the tragic loss.
Alli prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and asked God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, Senator Teslim Folarin has described the sudden passing of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Alhaji Wale Adedibu as a great loss.
The former Oyo South senator noted that Adedibu’s demise is not only a loss to APC but to the state generally.
“I’m shattered after receiving another shocking death news of our party chieftain, Alhaji Wale Adedibu.” The APC guber candidate in the last election, Folarin stated on his Facebook page.
He said the deceased ”is an elderly brother, friend, and political associate, whose positive advices and political acumen would be greatly missed.”
“I have no doubt that not just APC but also the political class in the State will dearly miss this seasoned politician and fine gentleman whose contributions to the APC and developmental politics in the State have been invaluable.”
“He was a thoroughbred Ibadan man,” he added.
Folarin however condoled family of the bereaved , APC members and good people of Ibadanland.
“May Almighty Allah comfort us and grant him Al-Janatul Firdaus. Amin.” He said
