Amotekun Nabs Robbers In Osun, Recovers 18 Goats

The Osun State Amotekun Corps has apprehended three suspected robbers and recovered 18 goats and motorcycles.

This was disclosed in statement yesterday by the Field Commandant of the outfit, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, who said Oladipupo Segun and Wale Samuel were arrested for stealing livestock while Usman Baba was arrested for burglary in Ilesa.

He said, “The suspects have been terrorising Osun residents by stealing livestock and transporting it to sell in Lagos State. They ran out of luck after perpetrating the act and heading to Lagos with a commercial vehicle and were apprehended by the Corps.

“The confessed to have stolen 56 goats in less than a month and sold them to their sister in Lagos who always gave them N10,000 after their trip.
