Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the family of the immediate past Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Mohood Lekan Alli Balogun Alli Okunmade 111.
The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal constituency was recieved at the Alarere palace of the late monarch by one of the Olori.
LMJ as he is foundly called in a post on his Facebook wrote: ‘On behalf of the family of His Excellency, Otunba Dr. Christopher Adebayo AlaoAkala, I paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Moshood Olalekan Balogun Alli, Okunmade II.
“May God be with everyone he left behind and grant the departed monarch eternal rest.”
Earlier in his condolences letter to the family LMJ described Olubadan Moshood was a visionary and exemplary monarch. He lived an impactful life in service to humanity, caring deeply about the welfare and development of the people of Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large. As a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he was an astute legislator who championed legislation aimed at improving the quality of life for Nigerians.
“May Allah console everyone he left behind and grant him Al Jannah Firdaus, Ameen.”
The Olori appreciated the Akala’s family for the visit extended her greetings to other members of the Akala’s family and political associate for deeming it fit to commiserate with them on the passage of the late monarch.
