The former Gov, of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala has commiserated with the family of late Chief Ayantayo Ayandele, describing hid death as a personal loss to him.
Otunba Alao-Akala in a condolence letter signed by him, said the elder statesman was an epitome of selfless service, humanness, and philanthropy, who devoted the greater part of his life to humanity.
He said Chief Ayandele, while serving as a Chairman in the then Ogbmomosland initiated and executed many developmental projects, especially, extensive road network which endeared to the hearts of the people, adding that the late Chief laid a solid foundation for subsequent administrations to build upon.
He also praised the efforts of Chief Ayandele as a pillar of support, a rallying point, who provided leadership roles to foster unity, peace, cohesion, progress and development, such that the elder statesman was honoured with the chieftaincy title of Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland.
Otunba Akala then prayed for the repose of his soul, adding that we are consoled by the fact that the departed left behind enviable legacies, and greatest honor and respect we can give to him is to sustain and improve on those legacies.
