A former deputy governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, has emerged as the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Adeyemo was officially announced as the party’s chairman during the APC state congress held on Tuesday at the Liberty Stadium in Ibadan.
The announcement was made by Afeez Bolaji Repete, a former APC National Youth Leader and secretary of the party’s ad hoc zoning committee, under the supervision of the congress committee constituted by the party’s national leadership in Abuja.
Adeyemo, a native of Igboho in Oorelope Local Government Area, served as deputy governor under the late former governor, Abiola Ajimobi, from 2011 to 2019.
