Oyo North Senatorial District is one of the largest Senatorial Districts in Nigeria with 13 local governments, 134 wards, and 1,859 polling units. This is why it deserves a better representation at the Federal level and that is exactly why Akinwale Solomon Akinwole of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the best option as the senatorial candidate, he is bringing to the table, a better tomorrow.

Akinwale’s foray into politics was buoyed by his passion to serve and make people happy which he has long been doing through community services, empowerment, job creation, skills discovery, and development. He has also proven to be a worthy father to many through the provision of his moral and financial support, especially to the less privileged in society.

He believes the aged need to be catered for through the provision of basic amenities and infrastructural development while the younger ones need to be guided and supported in all ramifications especially in developing and making policies that will enhance their growth and development.

Testimonies of his uncommon intervention abound, many of the younger ones who benefited from his Free UTME coaching class and JAMB form are now in higher institutions of their choice while some have graduated, many are enjoying his milk of kindness through scholarships and educational support programs.

Akinwole who hails from Seriki’s compound, Osupa understand that the journey to greatness is not always smooth, and judging by his experience while growing up, he decided to create a platform that will assist the younger generations to achieve their dreams of becoming great in life with less stress.

One cannot but appreciate him more for his humongous investment in the hospitality sector as well as the sport and entertainment sector through Ogbomoso United Football Club and Ajilete Carnival which was put in place to foster unity, celebrate the legacies of the forebears and showcase our cultural heritage. Wolekanle cannot be found wanting in assisting the needy and giving without grudges, he gives not because he has more than enough but because he wants others to have and be happy.

His philosophy is related to the Ubuntu philosophy of life which embodies all virtues that maintain harmony and the spirit of sharing among the members of society. Upon his return from the United Kingdom a few years ago, he has been actively involved in politics at the local level by supporting candidates and mobilizing people for them, and later he was appointed as Secretary of Ogbomoso North local government, Oyo state. Wolekanle is not a novice in politics, his relationship and rapport cut across all the stakeholders and gladiators in politics which is one of the factors that made him considered the best candidate when the issue of senatorial ticket came in. Since he won the ticket, he has been working day and night to put in place a strategic plan that will take people out of the doldrums and low representation at the federal level, He believes Oyo North deserves better than what it is getting now.

He always acknowledges and appreciates those who have represented the district including the current Senator for their efforts so far but believes that he can do better if elected. He is of good character and competent enough to serve Oyo north. He will make positive impacts with diligent and quality representation at the National assembly as well as facilitate developmental projects and quick response to the yearning of the people. Akinwole Akinwale is ready to make a difference and surpass the unbeatable record of would-be predecessors come May 2023.
