Senator Abiola Ajimobi has direct the governing council of The Oke Ogun Polytechnic to reinstate the substantive management of the institute.
The rector of the institution, Mr. Mathew Oladeji and some principal officers in the institution were suspended in April over alleged gross misconducts
The suspension order was contained in a memo signed by Prof. Moshood Tijani, the Chairman, Governing Council of the institution.
In a two separate letters dated 24th May, 2019 and signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, and directed to the Chairman, Governing Council and the Rector of the institution, the reinstatement is to take immediate effect
The Management is further directed to withdraw the case in the court immediately they are reinstated.
With this directive, the lingering crisis in the institution has been brought to an end
