Ajimobi May Replace Adebayo Shittu as Minister From Oyo State

There are clear indications that the immediate past governor of Oyo state Senator Abiola Ajimobi may be the next Minister from Oyo state.

President Buhari may release the ministerial list any moment soon

Senator Ajimobi who lost his senatorial election bid to Dr Kola Balogun of Peoples Democratic Party PDP is being tipped as one of ministerial nominee even though he is challenging Dr Balogun at the court

It was gathered that three people including Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Dr Olusola Ayandele a gubernatorial aspirant of the party and Oloye Adebayo Adelabu, APC gubernatorial candidate in the last election were nominated for the position.

The duo of San Ajimobi and Adelabu were nominated by the party while Dr Olusola was  allegedly nominated by former head of state Abdulbakar, Abdulsalam .

The immediate past minister of Communications Barrister Adebayo Shittu’s name was not on the list according to an inside source, But the Oke Ogun born legal luminary and politician may be consider for another appointment .

The source disclosed further that the president is considering some of the APC governors that lost elections in their state so as to keep the party functioning in their state for future election.
