Speaking at the event The minister of information Alhaji Lai Mohammed said HOn Odebunmi who is one of the son of the deceased is a responsible lawmaker who is not only passionate about the development of his community but the nation at Large
The Speaker House of Reps, Hon Yakubu Dogara in his remark said, the quality of life lived by late PA Akanji Odebunmi is reflected in the life of his children including Segundo Odebunmi.
” Hon Odebuni is one of the most important member of the House of Reps, he not arm chairman politician but an active lawmaker who always makes meaningful contributions on the floor of the House”
While urging his constituents to support HOn Odebuni for another time in office, Dogara who is a third time in the house said by the time Hon Odebunmi is returned to the house he would be able to get a better place in the leadership of the National Assembly and bring more development to his constituency”
“My constituents understand the need to retain me at the Assembly because they understand that the more I represent them at the National Assembly the better for the constituency and the state.”
In his remark, Hon. Odebunmi thanks the leadership of the House of Assembly, minister and other personalities present at the event for honouring the Olokose’ s family by attending the burial service of their late father, Pa. Akanji Odebunmi whom me he described as a compassionate and responsible father
He use the occasion to demand for CBT centre for Oko community and development of other places in his constituency.
