A Federal lawmaker Hon Abass Adigun Agboworin has facilitated ICT Training for about 150 youths in his constituents
The Peoples Democratic Party PDP lawmaker is representing Ibadan South East and North East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in Abuja
According to him, the training which started on Monday 22nd February is in collaboration with National Productivity Centre is to further enhance the capacity of the youths on ICT and makes them self reliance
The Federal lawmaker added that ” Knowledge in ICT is very important because we are now in a digital world and i belief that training the younger generations on ICT will prepare them to be able to compete with their folks around the world and at the same time come out with more innovations that will help build a saner and better society.
At the end of the training, the participants will be given working tools and a laptop to practicalize what they have learnt
While declaring the event open,Eng Sulaimon Adebisi, PDP Chairman Ibadan South commended Hon Agboworin for facilitating the training and urge participants to make good use of the skills acquired during the training as well as use it to make positive impact in the society.
Mr Adetunji Aderinto, Managing Partner Zetamind Consulting Limited, the company handling the training said the participants will be taken through the basic knowledge of computer as well as how to make money through ICT
