Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has described the demise of first civilian governor of Osun State and serving senator, Isiaka Adeleke as shocking, regrettable and unfortunate.

Fayose made the remarks in his reaction to questions from journalists who accosted him on his way out of the late Senator’s residence in Ede, Osun State after interment on Monday.

His words, “Senator Adeleke’s death is shocking, regrettable and only God can help fill the gap, it is so so unfortunate, that is all I can say”.

While praying God to grant family and loved ones fortitude to bear the loss, governor Fayose urged them to take heart and hold forth the belief that God knows the best. “To the family and loved ones, they have to take heart and believe God knows the best, I wish them well”, Fayose said.
