Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the reconstruction and rehabilitation of several key roads in Ogbomoso North and Ogbomoso South Local Government Areas of Oyo State. The initiative is part of the administration’s commitment to ensuring balanced infrastructural development across the state.
In Ogbomoso North, the projects cover more than 30 kilometers of roads, including Ajilete Estate – Industrial Estate South, Starlight – Ebenezer – Aaje – Orita Akunko, General – Orita Naira – Oja’gbo – Abede Bridge, Orita Naira – Isale Ora – Ita Alasa – Molete, Orita Aaduin – Ile Ewe, Aguodo – Olojo – Sekoni – Osupa Eleko – Bosunla Junction, INEC – Hotel Delight – Ile Ewe Junction, Areago High School – Water Works – Omo O Jeun Ikoyi Road, Zion Academy – Aaje Ologo – Ladunmu – Sawmill Pakiotan, Owode – Idi Oro – Kere Baya Oje Road, and Katangwa Hospital – Akowonjo Junction – 1500 Lautech Road.
Similarly, in Ogbomoso South, residents will benefit from the rehabilitation of the following roads: Onpetu Palace Road, Akande Market/Jalubo Junction, California Junction/Express, Corpers Lodge/Milky Junction, Alade Filling Station/Jango Market, Sanuaje Junction/Amuda Farm, The Apostolic Church Junction/Ojude Ajawa, JK Atanda/Soun D.C., Orita Merin/Exchange Junction, Naira Motel Street/California Junction, and Caretaker/Ora Garda.
Governor Makinde noted that quality road infrastructure remains a catalyst for economic growth, improved security, and better living conditions. He assured that his administration would continue to spread development across all zones of Oyo State.
