The historic town of Ipapo in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State came alive on Monday as sons and daughters of the soil gathered in a show of unprecedented unity to support the gubernatorial ambition of their illustrious son, Amofin Beulah Adeoye.

The rally, held at Baptist Basic School, Ipapo, drew attendees from across the Oke-Ogun region and beyond, signaling what many have called a generational awakening and a call for political inclusion of the zone in Oyo State’s governance.

Presiding over the event was His Royal Majesty, Oba Yekeen Ademola Abioye II, the Eleyinpo of Ipapo, who lauded the community’s unity of purpose. “This is the first time we are witnessing such a movement. Let us not allow politics or division to ruin what could be our breakthrough. Amofin is our son. We must all rally behind him,” he declared to thunderous applause.

Leaders from both Christian and Muslim communities offered prayers and shared words of encouragement. Reverend Dr. Steve Awoleye, the convener of the gathering, stressed that the movement transcends religious or political affiliations. “This is about unity and destiny. Oke-Ogun deserves more than we have received. It is time to come together under one vision,” he said.

Also lending his voice, Pa Rasheed Alawiye, speaking on behalf of the Gbenagbena Compound, described Amofin as “a true son of the soil,” asserting that “his aspiration is deeply personal to us all. He is from our root—we must own this cause with pride.”

The youth wing, represented by Mr. Adediran Johnson, pledged their unwavering support. “This is not just Amofin’s dream—it is our dream. We, the youth, are ready to lead the charge both offline and online,” he affirmed.

In a virtual address, Amofin Beulah Adeoye expressed profound gratitude for the show of solidarity. “This support strengthens my resolve. I am committed to serving Oyo State with integrity and the fear of God,” he said.

Joining virtually as well, Hon. Amelo, former member of the House of Representatives, urged the community to stay focused and organized. “This is not just a campaign. It must evolve into a movement for justice and inclusion in Oyo politics,” he remarked.

Prof. Gideon Olajire Adeoye closed the gathering with a heartfelt blessing, thanking the community for its unity and praying for peace and eventual victory.

As the crowd dispersed, one message echoed across the ancient town:
“When our own rises, our land will rise.”
Beulah 2027 is no longer just a political aspiration—it is now a movement with deep roots and high hopes for Oke-Ogun’s rightful place in Oyo State’s future.
