As Muslims across the globe mark Eid-al-Adha, prominent legal practitioner and founder of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, Amofin Beulah Adeoye, has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, particularly in Oyo State, urging renewed commitment to unity, compassion, and development.
In a goodwill message commemorating Hijrah 1446 Eid-al-Adha, the Ipapo-born legal icon called on Muslims to embrace the values of sacrifice and devotion exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS), and to translate those values into service to humanity.
“As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-al-Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you and your loved ones. This sacred occasion is a powerful reminder of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and unity — values that lie at the heart of both our personal lives and the vision I hold for our community,” he said.
Adeoye highlighted the significance of the festival as a call to serve others, particularly the less privileged. He referenced the ongoing work of the Beulah Adeoye Foundation, which has been active in supporting entrepreneurship, technology, healthcare, and education across various parts of Oyo State.
“Through the Foundation, I have seen firsthand how acts of kindness, big and small, can transform lives. From supporting business entrepreneurs and tech experts to enhancing healthcare and education, our mission has always been rooted in service, dignity, and love.”
He urged Muslims to go beyond celebration and make conscious efforts toward building a more equitable society. “Let us renew our commitment to justice, equity, and compassion — not only in celebration, but in action. Each act of kindness, whether in Ibadan, Oke-Ogun, or any other part of the state, helps strengthen our shared future.”
Amofin Adeoye reaffirmed his commitment to leading with transparency, humility, and purpose if given the opportunity to serve in a higher political or community capacity.
“My vision for our state is one of inclusive growth, where every zone—regardless of background or status—has access to opportunity, dignity, and essential services. I pledge to embody the spirit of this blessed day in all my aspirations.”
He concluded by praying for peace, blessings, and unity for all celebrating the festival.
“May this Eid bring peace to your homes, blessings to your families, and hope to the future. May all our sacrifices be accepted, prayers answered, and communities united in purpose and prosperity.”
