Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) and Member representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Engr. Aderemi Oseni, has expressed profound appreciation to Nigerians and well-wishers across the globe for their heartfelt prayers, goodwill messages, and overwhelming show of love on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, and made available to journalists in Ibadan, the lawmaker described the milestone as not just a personal achievement but a moment of spiritual reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to service.
“I am deeply touched and sincerely grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and goodwill from across the world — from friends, associates, colleagues, constituents, and even those I have never met — regardless of political affiliation, religious beliefs, or ethnic background,” he said.
Oseni, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said the celebration marked a new chapter of purpose-driven leadership and compassion for the people. He reaffirmed his commitment to the socio-economic development of his constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
He paid special tribute to the people of Ibarapa East/Ido for their consistent trust and support, assuring them of his continued dedication to impactful representation, responsive governance, and meaningful development initiatives.
“Over the past two years, we have recorded significant progress in infrastructure development, educational support, empowerment initiatives, healthcare services, and youth engagement, among other areas. As I turn 60, I see this milestone as a divine call to redouble my efforts toward building a brighter future for our people,” he stated.
The lawmaker also offered prayers for national unity, peace, and sustainable development, urging leaders at all levels to prioritise service to the people above personal interests.
