In a statement issued by Angela Olanrewaju, IBEDC’s Coordinating Head of Corporate Services, the company assured customers and stakeholders of its unwavering commitment to service delivery and staff welfare.

Olanrewaju explained that the concerns raised by NUEE included allegations of unjust dismissal of certain staff members. However, she maintained that the affected employees were disengaged due to consistent poor performance, in accordance with the company’s Conditions of Service and established procedures.

“IBEDC has always prioritized the well-being of its employees, ensuring that full salaries are paid despite prevailing economic challenges,” the statement read.

The company reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining a positive work environment while safeguarding the interests of both employees and stakeholders.

IBEDC urged customers across its franchise areas to disregard the reports of a strike and assured them of uninterrupted service delivery.
