The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has expressed deep shock and sadness over the deaths of Retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) Moses Ambakina Jitoboh and Retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Pastor Bola Longe.
DIG Moses Jitoboh passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, following a brief illness, while AIG Bola Longe died earlier on Sunday, December 22, 2024.
Late DIG Jitoboh, who retired in 2023, served as the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at the Force Headquarters. AIG Longe, on the other hand, retired in 2021 after serving as Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa State and Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Federal Operations, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
In a statement issued on Saturday by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP lauded the deceased officers for their unwavering dedication to duty, integrity, and significant contributions to the Nigeria Police Force.
