The ancient city of many war generalissimos in Yoruba kingdom called Ibadan, where progenitors like Iba Oluyole, Kunrunmi, Balogun Ibikunle, Balogun Ogunmola, Lagelu, Oderinlo, Aare Latosa, Efunsetan Aniwura etc who made landmarks in their lifetimes and whose names still bring recognitions to the city sited on a large plain land (Odan in Yoruba parlance), remains unstoppable in producing sons and daughters, even in this present times, who are breaking-even and making waves, in their chosen fields.
Ibadan is an enclave of different family community houses that came together in unison to form a formidable front.
*BACKGROUND*
Among the settings is Motoo Family House in Oranyan area where many who-is-who have sprouted to the forefront of life. Into this specific family house, on a blessed day of the Lord called Sunday, September 9, Mr (who just of recent joined his ancestors) and Mrs Yissau Onifade was blessed with a bouncing baby girl eventually named Abosede.
*EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS*
Abosede started her educational pursuits at Omoyeni Primary School Ibadan and proceeded to Community Grammar School, Akanran between 1985-1987 moving to Adekile Goodwill Grammar School, Orita-Aperin, Ibadan for her WAEC in 1989. Abosede is from a family of hardworking background which has greatly impacted her life and career positively.
Few years after, as a hard-working chap, Abosede ventured into the lucrative business of plank selling and later joined the Film Industry in the year 1998, precisely and the journey has been a good one till now.
*FILMING CAREER*
Oprah Winifred opined “It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you came from. The ability to triumph begins with you always.” And Marianne Williamson said ” Our deepest fears are not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fears are that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light that frightens us most. We wonder why I am so brilliant, talented and fabulous!”
Abosede’s debut acting was titled OGIRI, a television series on the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS). It was a household series that got people off the road but glued to watching the TV series.
Progressing in the industry, Abosede popularly called Akinboss produced her first film titled IDUNNU OKAN followed by FERANMI which brought her to limelight.
Relentlessly, Abosede has taken part in many other people’s film works mostly in lead or supporting roles. She backed up her two first film works with some other ones including TALOLEBI, IFAA, OLUWAROTIMI, EEPA, IDAJO OWO, LOOGUN OFE, COBWEB, ANIKE KOLOBA, AMOPE AJABIIJI and currently ARANDA EKUN which is trending on the contemporary and social media.
*LEADERSHIP JOURNEY*
A woman is a full multidimensional as a creator, nurturer and a powerful transformer, Abosede not an exception.
Abosede possesses the mien and aura to lure the wisest of men and women to work in her favour. Abosede is as powerful as a dynamite.
With her commitment, energy, passion and truthfulness in the entertainment industry, Abosede was elected, for four years, the chairman of Lagelu TAMPAN, Oyo State in the year 2014 after serving as member of the Caretaker Committee of TAMPAN, Oyo State between 9th February and October, 2014.
*GOVERNORSHIP*
Women face arrays of challenges that are very glaring where gender stereotyping and socialisation box them at a disadvantaged status to their male counterparts and professional market. However, the dynamite woman proved her worthiness when she became the number one actor in TAMPAN, Oyo State at a keenly contested election which she won gallantly on 17th November, 2022.
It should be of note that her emergence as the Executive Governor, TAMPAN, Oyo State, was premised majorly on her good interpersonal relationship, humility, respect for the elderly and empathy for the downtrodden.
*AWARDS*
Abosede is a woman who on occasions broke gender stereotypes, restrictions and challenges in the film industry to empower herself becoming a role model to many in the mainstream of the Tube and the society at large. What a key figure of her families (both biological and marriage) and by extension, the public.
It would be an understatement to say that she’s ‘acting-packed’ with numerous accolades from different places. The Oranyan Star was just divinely wired for the Tube! Abosede is a recipient of many awards from home and the diaspora amongst which are-

This great woman of substance is not without special soft spots. She loves reading novels, travelling for holidays, aiding the vulnerables and obviously and most importantly watching films, ‘to update, review or criticise’, you may say.
*MARRIAGE*
Abosede is married to her like mind who is very supportive and highly understanding, a man who goes all the way ensuring she succeeds in her chosen career, Mr Buliaminu Akinola and the marriage is blessed with four wonderful children and grand-children.
