Oyo Amotekun Fixes Date for Screening of Forest Rangers

The Oyo Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps has announced the commencement of a screening exercise for prospective Amotekun Forest Rangers.

This initiative is part of a broader plan to recruit dedicated individuals who will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the state’s vulnerable forest areas.

The screening process for 2024 applicants will take place from September 2nd to September 21st, 2024.

Their primary responsibilities of the success candidates include ensuring the safety of residents, preventing unauthorized economic activities, and curtailing illegal criminal operations within the state’s forest resources.

According to the statement by the state commandants, All applicants are required to prepare and present the following documents key documents for the screening:

1. Online Printed Form: This form must be filled out and printed from the official Amotekun website.

2.Duly Signed Medical Form from recognized government hospital.

3.Guarantors Form: This form must be properly signed and endorsed by traditional leaders and elected local government chairpersons of the applicant.

4. Oath Forms: These must be endorsed by the Commissioner of Oaths in any competent law court.

Any other documentation that may support the application is encouraged.
