The Lisa of the traditional Prime Minister) of Idanre kingdom, High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire who confirmed the death said the monarch died on Wednesday morning. He added that necessary traditional rites have commenced.
Oba Fredrick Adegunle Aroloye Arubiefin IV became the 26th Owa and paramount ruler of all Idanreland in September 1976.
He was born on March 30, 1927 attended St. Paul’s Primary School and Methodist School, both at Idanre.
He had his secondary school education at Western Boys High School, Benin and Hussy College, Warri and later went to England, where he attended Balham and Tooting College of Commerce and Law.
After graduating from the college he took up an appointment under Survey Country Council as a licencing officer. From there, he was transferred to Greater London Council as a Finance Clerk.
When he returned to Nigeria he started
work as a Treasury Cash Officer in the civil service of the Old Western Region
in Ibadan. After six months he was transferred to Ondo town
