“The conduct and professionalism displayed by your officers posted to NYSC camp has really reshaped and remodeled the Corps members posted to Oyo State NYSC”, says Mr Odoba Abel Oche the new director of National Youth Service Corps in Oyo State.
Mr Odoba Abel who visited the State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) today and met with the State Commandant CC Adaralewa Michael and the management team of the Corps, expressed his happiness with the Corps and commended the activities of NSCDC personnel in protecting the life’s and properties of NYSC personnel and the Corps member during their stay while in camp.
The State director later called for continuity in the synergy between the two organisation as a better way for national development.
While responding, the State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps CC Adaralewa Michael assured the director of NYSC of NSCDC undiluted protection of NYSC offices and the Corps members as they are part of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure which is one of the core mandate of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The State Commandant stated further that the Commandant General of the Corps CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni PhD has also directed that no attack must happen at NYSC camp and other critical national assets that includes, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Communication mast, pipeline right of way and all federal, State and local government properties of the nation.
