The trio in their separate condolence letter described the late monarch as a peaceful and responsible monarch whose reign witnessed unprecedented development in Ibadan , and Oyo state at large

Alao Akala said “Coming at a time, when we are still mourning the unfortunate demise of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade 111, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, who joined his ancestors about 22 days ago, the sudden departure of yet another foremost Oba in Yorubaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogunguniso 1 is yet another unpleasant experience we have to learn to live with.

“Baba Kabiyesi is a perfect example of a man of courage and resilience who stood by what he believed in damning all consequences.

Also Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe described the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, describing him as a brave and courageous leader.

According to her, Oba Adetunji, was a successful businessman and first class Traditional Ruler, who died today after close to five years on the throne of his forefathers.

Akande-Sadipe whose condolence message was contained in a statement issued in Ibadan today by his Media Aide, Olamilekan Olusada noted that the late monarch led his people with utmost diligence and unassuming dedication, commending his strong adherence for peace, progress and development
