Hon. Hon. Ige who is the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland said that within a year on the throne, Oba Murtala has justified the confidence reposed in him by ensuring that the Yorubas are living in peace with other ethnic groups in Kano State.
Ige equally extended the appreciation of the government and good people of Oyo State particularly Ibadan indigenes to the Kano state government under the leadership of Governor Abdullah Umar Ganduje for the hands of fellowship his administration has extended to the monarch since his installation one year ago.
He prayed God to grant Oba Murtala Alimi Otisese long life and sound health, the Yoruba and the entire Kano State to continue to witness peace and development during his reign as Sarkin Yoruba in Kano State.
