English football club, Tottenham Hotspurs have sacked their manager, Jose Manuel Mourinho his coaching staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra
This comes after his side recording some unimpressive results in the English topflight league as well as European competitions.
Tottenham is in seventh place and was also eliminated from the Europa League in the Round-16 stage.
Mourinho took over as the head coach of the side in November 2019 and subsequently led them to sixth-place finish in the Premier
The team will be managed by Ryan Mason and Chris Powell
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said “Jose is a true professional who showed enormous resilience during the pandemic, Jose and his coaching staff have been with us through some of our most challenging times as a club,”
“On a personal level I have enjoyed working with him and regret that things have not worked out as we both had envisaged.
“He will always be welcome here and we should like to thank him and his coaching staff for their contribution.
