The present administration in Suurulere local government in Oyo state says about 32 kilometres of roads have been rehabilitated for easy access by rural dwellers and movement of farm produce in the area to markets and some major towns.
The Caretaker Chairman of the local government, Hon. Isaiah Adegbite disclosed this while speaking with journalists in Ogbomoso on his commitment to development of the area through various developmental projects.
Hon Adegbite said the steps is inline with the aspiration of of Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde to make life easy for all and sundry in the state.
Some of the roads include,Idi Opele-Adekunle- Elebekebe,(8km), Irasaadu- Idi Igba Onikoko(5km), Ilosin- Olowosoke- AKori- Baasa junction(8km) and Elewuro- Gbena- Omonijuko roads(8.2km).
” You know agriculture is one of the prioritye of the present administration, his execellnecy directs us to ensure that we makes routes to farm and more accessible to enhanced improved farming and extend governmence to the people at the grassroot
” In the last one year of Governor Makinde in office several achievements have been recorded in the area of infrastructural development, Education, Health sectors and others, in fact his achievement in just one year is a clear evident that Oyo state shall be great again”
Adegbite while urging the people of Oyo state to corperate with the government of Engineer Seyi Makinde also assured them that the people at the grassroot would enjoy better dividends of democracy
