Weavers Association Wants Gov. Makinde to Sponsor Mass Production of Nose Mask with Aso Oke

Iseyin Weavers and Marketers Association has called on Oyo state Government to involve them in the mass production of Nose Mask as part of the measure for protection against COVID-19.

Already the Association has produced over 200 pieces of nose mask with Aso Oke and distributed to the office of the Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Speaker of the House of Assembly Hon Debo Ogundoyin, Commissioner for Information, Local Government and chieftaincy matters as well as council chairmen and state lawmakers

“Using Aso Oke to produce nose mask is more effective and durable” said Alhaji Sulaiman Onimama chairma for the weavers Assocation said

Also Kolawole Kaseem, Aso Oke Ambassador in a chat with our reporter said ” Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos state and many people are using nose mask made of Aso Oke , our government should please encourage us by patronising us

Since the begining of COVID-19 sales of Aso OKe has dropped drastically and we believe patronage from the government is the one of the way through which weavers can feed their family and make ends meet.
