Founder/President of Busayo Odu Foundation for Women and the less privileged (BOF) has commenced donation of relief materials to people in three major local government areas of Ekiti state to cushion the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a statement by Mr Odu, the effort that would have beneficiaries from Ado-Ekiti and two other major local governments, for a start, is “with the support and donations of some of his friends and partners in Nigeria and United states of America.”
The statement has it that the BOF “has started distribution of food items and other palliatives to the less privileged in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital on Tuesday April 14th to cushion the effect of stay at home order commanded on account of the coronavirus pandemic.”
The BOF boss enjoined residents of the state to continue to observe the social distancing advice, nothing that well meaning Nigerians would continue to do all in their powers to ameliorate the effects.
