As the Presidential election comes up nationawide on Saturday 16 February, 2019, the Olubadan od Ibadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1has called on the people to come out en-masse and vote for candidates of their choice without fear.

The first class  in a statement signed by  Adeola Oloko ,Personal Assistant /Director of Media and Public Affairs monarch noted that what make democracy beautiful is the right to choose the leaders of their choice in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere.

The Olubadan who frowned at the use of thugs and violence in the build-up to the election, appealed to supporters of the candidates not to allow blood-letting any further.

Oba Adetunji stated further that voters should take advantage of the conducive atmosphere provided for the peaceful conduct of the elections by the electoral umpire and the law enforcement agents.

The Olubadan also urged Nigerians to give peace a chance as the whole world is watching.
