Osun state Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Friday forwarded the name of 61 nominees for caretaker chairmen into the 30 local government area of the state and the newly created 31 Local Council Development Area LCDA’s to the State House of Assembly
The name of the nominees which was presented on the floor of the House of Assembly on Monday includes Pastor Anothony Adeboye, younger brother of the General Overseer of the Redeeem Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
Others include, former lawmakers, party stalwart including the administrative secretary of the All progressives congress APC in the state among others
A source close to the governor told our reporter that the selection of the nominees was democratically selected as the Governor did a wide consultation and allow the leaders of the party to present candidates
The source said further that screening of the nominee may commence any moment from now as they may be sworn in before the end of this week
