Community leader and international businessman, Omo Oba Babatunde Ologburo, has congratulated renowned urologist and distinguished academic, Professor Olayiwola Babatunde “Layi” Shittu, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, the Sanmori Adini of Oyo Kingdom described the University of Ibadan don as an accomplished medical professional whose outstanding contributions to healthcare, education and humanity have earned him admiration both within and outside Nigeria.
He noted that Professor Shittu has devoted his life to the service of God and mankind through his commitment to medical excellence, mentorship of younger professionals and selfless service to society.
According to him, the celebrant’s remarkable achievements in the field of urology have brought pride to the medical profession and the nation.
Alhaji Babatunde Ologburo further praised the septuagenarian for his humility, integrity and dedication to the advancement of medical practice, describing him as a role model whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations of doctors and scholars.
He prayed that God would grant Professor Shittu continued good health, strength and wisdom as he celebrates the milestone, wishing him many more years of impactful service to humanity and greater accomplishments in all his endeavours
