
The Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering strategic partnerships aimed at accelerating the development of Ogbomosoland following a meeting with the Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Zacch Adedeji.
The monarch, who visited Dr. Adedeji alongside members of his delegation after a meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, described the engagement as warm, productive and focused on the future of Ogbomosoland.
Oba Olaoye said discussions centred on unlocking the vast potential of Ogbomosoland through stronger collaboration that would create sustainable opportunities for residents and future generations.
During the visit, the Soun expressed appreciation on behalf of the people of Ogbomosoland to Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving major road projects across the area.
According to the monarch, the road projects will improve connectivity, stimulate economic activities, enhance the quality of life of residents and fast-track the development of Ogbomosoland.
Oba Olaoye also commended Dr. Adedeji for his contributions to national development and for serving as an exemplary ambassador of Ogbomosoland.
He praised the NRS chairman’s leadership, distinguished public service and commitment to the progress and prosperity of his homeland.
The traditional ruler stressed that the future of Ogbomosoland depends on the unity of its sons and daughters, expressing confidence that through purposeful collaboration, visionary leadership and collective commitment, the area would become more prosperous, secure and attractive for generations to come.
