Hon. Teslim Adeboye Ajimobi, the younger brother of the late former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has died at the age of 67.
Teslim Ajimobi reportedly passed away in London on Thursday, exactly six years after the death of his elder brother, who died on June 25, 2020.
A former Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government Area, Teslim Ajimobi served in the position in 2017.
Beyond politics, he maintained corporate and business interests outside Nigeria, including serving as a director of UK-based Teslis Global Services Ltd.
His death has been described as another painful loss for the ancient city of Ibadan.
In a brief tribute, mourners wrote: “ỌJÀ’BA has lost another son. We mourn the passing of Hon. Teslim Adeboye Ajimobi, the younger brother of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi.”
His family is yet to announce details of his funeral arrangements. May his soul rest in peace.
