Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, Member, representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja has refuted reports speculating that he is planning to defect to one of the opposition parties in the country.

This was disclosed in a press release from the office of his Media Assistant, Kunle Gazali, who noted that Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria, has no plan to leave the party for any reason as he is a stakeholder in the party.

The release described the speculations as unfounded, attributing it to the handiwork of some rabble-rousers who are hell-bent on causing acrimony in the political trajectory of Oyo State.

“I am compelled to react to the speculations, so that there would be no vacuum for lies in the absence of genuine information”, Omo Oloore stated.

It is on record that the Patriarch of Adesina family, the ‘Great Lam Adesina’, a former Governor of Oyo State was a devoted party man who never criss-cross from one party to the other during his lifetime, hence Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina has no cause to deviate from the right path put in place by his late father.

Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina used the opportunity to encourage all party members to be ready for the forthcoming party congresses at ward, local and state levels. He advised that the popular candidates should be allowed to emerge and the real owners of the party will manifest afterwards.

Hon. Lam Adesina would like to restate his loyalty and commitment towards the progress of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the State and the Country at large.

“Omo Oloore is also using this medium to appreciate all Members of APC in Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency for their support at all times and promise not to rest on his oars in bringing dividends of democracy to his Constituents.
