Five individuals have lost their lives in a recent confrontation between farmers and herders in Waltandi, located in the Song local government area of Adamawa State.

In light of the violence, Commissioner of Police Morris Dankombo has dispatched command operatives to the scene to restore order. He emphasized that security forces are committed to apprehending those responsible for the violence.

Commitment to Justice

Commissioner Dankombo has instructed the Homicide section of the State CID (Criminal Investigation Department) in Yola to conduct a thorough investigation into the clashes that resulted in fatalities and property damage on October 27, 2024.
