39-Years Old Man Arrested for Defiling Neighbour’s Daughter in Ibadan

A middle aged man, Isiaka Hammed has been paraded by Oyo state commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr Michael Adaralewa for defiling a minor

The 39 years old native of Saare Ilorin Kwara State, committed the offence on the 9th of August 2023 at his residence at Osungbade area of Molete Ibadan.

The suspect who admitted to the crime made it known that he raped the girl when her mother who sells food within the neighborhood asked the child to give him  soup at home and forced the girl and defiled her.

The comand’s PRO Oyindamola Okuneye in a statement  said it takes the quick response of Anti Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit of the command to arrest the suspect at Popo area of Ibadan South West on 17th of the month after the mother of the girl reported the case to NSCDC.

Commandant Michael Adaralewa who condemned the act appealed to parent and guardians to always protect their children, especially the female child in other not to be victim of the wicked ones around.

He stated further that the case would be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigation, and enjoined the public to always furnish the corps with credible information whenever they see anything unlawful in their vicinity. “If you see something, always say something” he charged.
