The Acting General Manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, Mr Kunle Oyeleye has charged all members of staff to be professional in the discharge of their duties and eschew partisanship .

Oyeleye gave this urge at a meeting held at the Club’s Secretariat, Soun Township Stadium, Ogbomoso

“I want to use this privilege to urge us to be more professional in our conducts and desist from any act that could set the club backward as any erring member of staff caught in act inimical to the policy of the Club would be sanctioned accordingly”.

” Crown FC is a professional outfit with core values in football activities and not a political group that the sole ownership belongs to the good people and Government of Oyo State. Any staff who is found to be partisan or intends to engage in something else should resign”.

“You cannot mix politics with football and expect a better result. I implore us to be wary of our conducts on social media and other engagements”, the Ajilete Warriors boss maintained.

Oyeleye also urged the staff to obey all the preventive measures by the satisfied bodies aimed at curtailing the spread of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic .

” We bless God for keeping us safe and sound. The Honourable Commissioner For Youths and Sports,Hon Seun Fakorede would have been here today but was prevented by another important State functions”.

The number one Youth is expected to meet with the staff as well as charge them to be focused and determined towards moving the club to a greater height in consonance with the transformation agenda of the Governor Seyi Makinde led Government on Wednesday.

The club Welfare Officer, Mr Oyebowale Adetayo , in his reaction thanked, Governor Seyi Makinde and the Commissioner for making Staff welfare a priority, particularly on the prompt payment of staff salaries.

Oyebowale,on behalf of other members of staff, promised to obey the riot act as spelt out by the Acting General Manager and to remain focus on promotion agenda of the club.

In the same vein ,the Acting Manager on behalf of the Players, Supporters, Fans and Staff expressed shock over the demise of the Honourable Commissioner for Environment Rt. Honourable Kehinde Ayoola who passed on last week.

The Club consoles with the Executive Governor of the State,his family, colleagues and those benefitting from the great man while he was here.

Crown FC equally prayed for the fortitude to bear the dark moment occasioned by his painful death.
